On Saturday, Star Sport Academy suffered its first defeat of the season in the Leone Rock Premier League, losing 2-0 to Old Edwardians at the SLFA playing turf.

In week twelve, goals from James Jusu Kanja and Daniel Karim were enough to end our unbeaten streak in the 2025/26 Leone Rock Sierra Leone League campaign.

An early penalty in the 5th minute got the game rolling for Old Edwardians, and just before halftime, FC Kallon loanee Daniel Karim scored their second, making it difficult for us.

Keeper Isaac Cauller picked up an injury and was replaced by Dauda Bangura. Still, despite this setback, we continue to hold the top spot in the league standings, at least until Bai Bureh Warriors take the field next.

They’ll be hosting Wilberforce today, 25 January 2026, at Port Loko Town Field.
