Head coach Amidu Karim has named our first-ever starting eleven for the CAF Champions League as we prepare for a positive first-leg match against Medina United from Gambia.

The game kicks off at 4 PM at the Southern Arena. Isaac Caulker will be our goalkeeper. The defenders are Citta Bah and Mohamed Sillah in central defence, with Ernest Koroma and Edward Bello Yillah as left- and right-backs, respectively.

In midfield, we have Leone Rock’s 2025/26 season’s best midfielder, Shaka Sesay, in for Ivorian Mamadi Kone, Santigie Fornah, and skipper James Kai Yamba running the play.

In attack, Ibrahim Dicko, Larry Siemon, and Mahamadu Lamin will lead our offensive efforts for our debut in this continental competition.

During the pre-match press conference, team captain James Kai Yamba assured fans that winning is our goal and that the team feels confident for this important first leg of the CAF Champions League.

“We are at home. The fans and the country expect us to play well and get the victory we need. Everyone believes in us, so we have to use that confidence wisely.”

The game starts at 4:00 PM on Saturday at the Southern Province Stadium in Bo City.
