Star Sport Academy are set to make its debut in the West Africa Champions Cup, beginning our campaign on August 14 against Guinean side Karfamoriah FC in Kankan, Guinea.

The tournament represents the next step for the academy as it prepares to test itself against some of the region’s emerging top football clubs.

Following our opening fixture, we will continue our campaign against the Association Sportive du Real Bamako side from Mali before rounding off the competition against another Malian outfit, Djoliba Athletic Club. 

The academy will be hoping to make a strong first impression on the regional stage and gain valuable experience from the tournament.

With determination and ambition, coach Amidu Karim’s side ready to embrace the challenge and represent their football community with pride.
