Star Sport Academy transfers 2025: Meet our new acquisitions

As the transfer window is about to close, here is a summary of the new players who have joined the club ahead of the 2025/2026 Sierra Leone Rock season. The new Leone Rock campaign is slated to start on November 8, 2025.

Isaac Caulker joins on a three-year deal

Experience keeper, Isaac Caulker, who has played most of his career with FC Kallon, has joined us for the new season on a three-year permanent deal.

The Sierra Leone International, Caulker, is an exciting goalkeeper with a lot of experience from both national and club football.

Dauda Bangura returns to parent club

Dauda Bangura has returned to the club after successfully helping East End Lions win the league during his loan spell last season. He was also a member of the Sierra Leone U-20 squad in the Cup of Nations, where they were eliminated by Morocco in the quarter-finals.

Bangura also played for the End Lions in this season’s CAF Champions League. We look forward to his experience helping the team.

Attacking midfielder Gibrilla Osu Kamara signs

The former FC Kallon and Old Edwardians attacking midfielder has signed with Star Sport Academy on a three-year deal. Coach Amidu Karim is looking forward to working with such an exciting talent.

Midfielder Sheka M Sesay signs

Midfielder Sheka M. Sesay, who can also play in an attacking role, has signed with the club ahead of the new season.

Last season, he was a key player for Freetown City FC, and the club’s management is very pleased with his contributions as they gear up for the new Leone Rock campaign.

Mohamed Alie Bangura pens a deal with Star Sport Academy

The defender has signed a two-year contract with Star Sport Academy, which includes an option for an additional two years. Bangura, a talented player from Freetown City FC, primarily excels in defence.

He is currently part of the team’s pre-season training in Bo and is expected to bring significant value to the squad as they prepare for the upcoming season.

Abubakarr Bangura signs a two-year permanent transfer

The thrilling left winger has signed with Star Sport Academy for the next two seasons, having joined this month.

Bangura has previously been in Cyprus, and the club is eager to have such a promising talent on its team.
