Star Sport Academy faced a disappointing second defeat in March after a 2-0 loss to Kamboi Eagles in Kenema on Saturday.
Early goals from the home team frustrated our efforts, leading to our second consecutive defeat this month in the Leone Rock Premier League.
Kamboi Eagles started strong, scoring a great free kick from Koami Bamidele Cole just two minutes into the game. The home team kept the pressure on, and Boza Kamara, wearing the No. 99 jersey, scored again in the 19th minute.
Matters got worse when Abdulai Aruna Sankoh was sent off for a second yellow, and ultimately, we suffered our third defeat of the season.
As a result, we dropped to second spot in the campaign, two points adrift from new leaders, Bo Rangers. Defender Abdul Budu Kamara made his first official start since joining and was impressive despite the result.
