Star Sport Academy is set to make history with its debut in the CAF Champions League, facing Gambian opponent Medina United after Thursday’s preliminary round draw in Cairo, Egypt, was confirmed.

This marks an exciting first challenge for the Academy as it prepares to represent Sierra Leone on Africa’s premier club stage.

In the first week of September, we’ll host Medina United in the preliminary first leg before heading to the Gambia for the return match on the weekend of 11-13 September.

This two-legged tie presents Star Sport Academy with a perfect opportunity to make a statement in continental football while showcasing its talents against seasoned rivals.
