Star Sport Academy returned from a successful CAF Champions League trip to The Gambia after securing progression to the next round.

We got off to a strong start, taking the lead early in the match and putting themselves in a favorable position. Medina United fought back later, finding the equalizer and leveling the contest.

However, coach Amidu Karim’s team kept their composure and clinched qualification based on the away-goal rule, making their goal on the road pivotal over the two legs.
