Star Sport Academy Football Club extends its sincere appreciation to the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA), under the leadership of President Babadi Kamara and the Executive Committee, for its financial contribution of US$5,000 towards the Club’s participation in the preliminary rounds of the CAF Champions League.

The support, formally communicated by the SLFA on 8 August 2026, is a significant demonstration of the Association’s commitment to supporting Sierra Leonean clubs representing the country on the continental stage.

The Academy deeply values this gesture at a very important moment in the Club’s history as we prepare to represent Sierra Leone in our first-ever CAF Champions League campaign.

The contribution will provide meaningful support towards our preparations and participation in this prestigious continental competition.

We particularly commend President Babadi Kamara, the SLFA Executive Committee, the General Secretariat and the entire Association for recognising the importance of supporting clubs that carry the national flag beyond our borders.

As Star Sport Academy prepares for the challenge ahead, we remain committed to representing Sierra Leone with pride, discipline, professionalism and determination, and to doing everything possible to bring honour to our country.
