Star Sport Academy ended their 2025–26 Sierra Leone Premier League season with a tough 1-1 draw against Wusum Stars at Coronation Field in Bo City, Sierra Leone.

Both teams were going for the win, and we missed a few scoring chances throughout the game. However, Wusum Stars took the lead before host Star Sport Academy responded with a well-deserved equaliser, hence guaranteeing that the points were shared.

Alpha Bedor Conteh scored the opening goal for the visiting team, Wusum Stars. However, the home side fought back and found their way into the game, equalising with a goal from Senessie Janneh in the 70th minute.

Wusum Stars could have won it after a late penalty was awarded, but Mohamed S Koroma missed from the spot.

With players showing tenacity and dedication till the last whistle, the outcome ended an exciting league season for both clubs.
