Mohamed E Pokawa, who is the youngest player in the Leone Rock Premier League, thanked management and coaching staff after his senior debut in our 2-1 win against Diamond Stars in Kono on Sunday.
Pokawa, 15, was named on the bench ahead of kickoff and was later subbed on for his first senior Star Sport Academy debut. The fearless young attacker walked onto the field for his senior debut. He moved with remarkable confidence.
He replaced Alhassan Sesay in the 72nd minute and was impresive on every ball.
“I am truly happy for my debut, and it was an amazing feeling. I thanked the mamannegt and coaching staff and teammates for all their help and guidance. I’m looking forward to continuing to progress,” He told the club’s media after the match.
