A last-gasp FC Kallon goal through Ishmeil Baba Sheriff denied us three points in a thrilling encounter on Wednesday, 20th May, at the SLFA Academy Field.
Our goalscorer, Mohamed C. Jalloh, scored following a pass by forward Larry Siemon after our strong start in the second half.
In a bid to hold on, the game turned in favour of FC Kallon when we were reduced to 10 men after the referee showed a red card to defender Abdulai Aruna Sankoh in the 51st minute.
Despite a deficit in numbers, our boys were very disciplined and determined at the back while FC Kallon pushed hard for the equaliser.
However, Kallon levelled the scoreline deep in injury time after Ishmeil Baba scored in the 90+6th minute. The no.9 had found the back of the net to secure an important point for FC Kallon on a 1-1 draw.
As a result, leaders Bo Rangers maintain a seven-point lead on us as we remain second in the Leone Rock Premier League standings with 47 points from 27 games.
We face Bai Bureh Warriors away from Freetown in our next league outing.
