Star Sport Academy moved on to the quarter-finals of the Sierra Leone Orange FA Cup after securing a 2-0 victory over Bai Bureh Warriors in Port Loko.

Right from the outset, our team looked comfortable on the ball, showcasing our skills despite a few missed opportunities.

Liberia-born Larry Siemon opened the scoring in the Round of 16. From the start, we were strong, but we couldn’t capitalise on our chances during the first 45 minutes, leaving us without a lead at halftime.

The breakthrough came in the 50th minute when Siemon headed in the first goal following a well-executed set piece from Alpha Bedor.

We soon extended our lead, with Siemon netting again after expertly receiving a pass from Mohamed C. Jalloh and finishing with style in the 82nd minute. His fifth goal of the competition after his hat-trick in the round of 32.

This victory ensures our place in the quarter-finals of the Sierra Leone Orange FA Cup.
