Head Coach Amidu Karim delivers a motivational speech to his players ahead of Week 29 of the Leone Rock Premier League as he aims to restore winning form on Wednesday.

At the SLFA’s training ground, we host Old Edwardians FC in what already appears to be a challenging encounter after our poor performance this month. We have not secured any wins in our last three matches in May, and the boss is eager to turn this around quickly.

Coach Karim has urged his players to quickly find the right approach and get back on the winning track. “We have to remain confident despite some of the poor results and get back to positive results. In football, teams go through some rough patches but pick themselves up again.”

“It’s been difficult for us to get the points we needed to close the gap between the league leaders and us, but it’s not all lost. We will keep fighting till the end of the season. I appreciate the effort and dedication from the boys and my technical staff, and the management. This is football, not what you work for happens.

All the same, we are still competing, and we will compete till the end of the season. It’s a young team, and we need to learn many things when it comes to experience. I hope we will put in a good performance today and get the three points.”
