Our head coach, Amidu Karim, has been speaking with the Star Sport Academy media department about his first defeat in twelve games and on the task ahead.
We suffered a disappointing 2-0 defeat to Old Edwardians in game week twelve, which our coach described as a disappointing defeat.
“It was disappointing for the entire team. However, it’s not easy to go eleven games without losing. This is football; you should expect the unexpected.
We’ve moved past that and are now focusing on the upcoming game. We are working on our mistakes to prepare the players both mentally and physically for the next match.
The players have done well; we need to identify where we went wrong and fix it before the next game.”
We face Freetown City on Friday, January 30th, and the target is to return to winning ways immediately.
