Our head coach has been discussing the upcoming second phase of the Leone Rock Premier League. He praised his players for their dedication and our executive for their support.

He emphasised that we should expect a challenging series of matches, while also highlighting the importance of effectively managing players’ well-being.

“The first round was quite challenging, but I want to express my gratitude to God and the executive team for their steadfast support of our players. Heading to Makeni, we were aware of the difficulties we faced, especially given our experience from last season.

I have to commend the players for their outstanding performance in securing all three points. We recognise that the second round of matches will be tough, considering how much the other teams are improving.

Nonetheless, we will know how to manage the squad effectively. For now, the boys are dedicated and remain focused on our upcoming match.”

The second round for Star Sport Academy will officially kick off this Sunday as we head to the SLFA’s playing field to take on SLIFA FC. The team is excited about the match and eager to build on their current good form.
