Head coach Amidu Karim complimented his Star Sport Academy team for their professional performance after they defeated Bai Bureh Warriors 2–0 on Saturday.
Suffering at home to us in the Orange FA Cup Round of sixteen in Port Loko, Sierra Leone, we were able to beat Bai Bureh Warriors in Port Loko with a brace for Liberian-born Larry Siemon.
As a result, our striker is the comeptition highest goal scorer with five goals after his hat-trick against Prospect FC in the round of 32.
Head coach Amidu Karim stated, “It was a good performance on a day when we knew all the fundamental things we would need to do well.”
I want to thank the players for their unrelenting efforts in every game. One game at a time, we are getting close, and the team’s effort left me most impressed.
Training and every game require a great deal of work on our part. We will leave this game behind and turn our attention to our next obstacle going forward.
Highlighted by an amazing 8-1 triumph against Prospect FC and a steady 2-0 triumph against Bai Bureh Warriors, we have collected ten goals in our recent Orange FA Cup games.
In the quarter-final on the SLFA’s pitch next month, East End Lions will be our opponent.
